SPECTACLED COBRA
Description
Scales Smooth, Glossy. Head Broad. Colour, Pattern, and hood mark variable; hood mark sometimes absent, Colour of Brown, yellow, gray or black, often with a speckled, sometimes banded pattern. The Famous "Spectacled" marking on hood usually markes identification easy.
Behavior
Active by day night. seen in fields, near streams, rock piles, trees, granaries and grain shop. Often lives in rat holes or termite mounds. feeds on rodents, toads, frogs, birds and snakes.
