Description

Smooth-scaled. Head Slightly broader then neck; Glossy Black, pale faded bluish-gray or dark brownish-black above (often with blue iridescence) with narrow (sometimes paired) white cross-lines that continue to pointed tip of short tail. these line usually absent on fore body or they are replaced by with vertebral spots. Scales of the vertebral line six sided (hexagonal)

Behavior

Nocturnal; alert and active at night. By day has been found resting in termite mounds, rodent burrows, piles of brick and rubble, and even in rolled up carpets. Often found in farms and gardens near water. Eats Snakes(event other Kraits), sometimes rodents, lizards, and frogs.
